So, is starting an online marketing business easy?
Well, The Free-Dictionaries definition of easy is as follows: “Capable of being accomplished or acquired with ease; posing no difficulty; requiring or exhibiting little effort or endeavour; undemanding”. If starting any business was “Easy”, whether online or off-line, then we would all be business owners, with no financial concerns whatsoever and be “marketing gurus”. So the answer to the question is a resounding NO.
But the problem is, that with home business opportunities popping up all over the place within the online world; everyone’s fancying a crack at being their very own self made entrepreneur, because they think it’s a walk in the park.
But I’m all about truth, so here it is….ready…..wait for it…..97% of those that come to the internet to make money fail, fact!
Why? Well most simply don’t treat it as a business. People are lazy, they sit around and twiddle their thumbs, amongst other things, whilst watching their merchant accounts stay at a big fat zero for long enough before they start bad mouthing their company, blame others and in some cases label the whole industry as a scam.
No one ever said their was a big read button saying EASY on it that you could push, and then your business would be all set up and generating endless streams of cash.
Truth is, no matter how something is labelled (i.e. simple, easy, straightforward, hassle free, or foolproof), if it’s legitimate and has longevity then you can expect to put in some hard work and persistence to actually get it off the ground.
Now I don’t doubt there are some real bad apples within our tree, but there is a hell of a lot of us that have gotten where we are through hard work and persistence and in the main, are in this business because we want to help others experience the success that we are experiencing.
So next time you go out looking for an online marketing business make sure YOU do your research; understand that there will be many frustrations ahead; that it will take some hard work, effort, desire and persistence on your part; before you sign up.
The key word here is Research, there really isn’t such a thing as a get rich quick scheme, if something sounds to good to be true….well…then it probably is!
Think of it like this, the more hard work it requires in the short term then the better the profit earning potential and longevity the venture may have in the long term, providing you’ve researched 
So what’s the moral of the story you may ask. Well, the solution to your problems, and the security of your future is out there. You just need to look hard enough, through cynical eyes and ask lot’s of questions before starting anything online.
And if you questions aren’t being answered then that’s when alarm bells should be sounding.
Also ensure that you are already in a financially secure position to not stretch your bank balance and also that you have some spare time to put into the development of your business. And, if the times not right for you, don’t worry the money isn’t not going anywhere, after all there’s plenty to go around.
This wasn’t meant to offend, think of it as more of a reality check, and check list of sorts when looking to start an online business. As there’s some people, it may just not be right for
